Kennedy, Senator/Attorney General Robert Francis Kennedy, and Senator Edward Moore Kennedy. This program was filmed primarily from Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. The narrator is her granddaughter Maria Shriver. This actual broadcast was on July 15, 1990, yet Rose Kennedy's actual birthday is on July 22, 1890.

ABC's Split Second with Tom Kennedy, "The Fast Way" (The Original Unedited Theme)

This video collage that I made is from the game show, "Split Second" that aired on ABC from March 20, 1972 to June 27, 1975. The host was Tom Kennedy. The theme song is called "The Fast Way" by Stan Worth. There are two different takes of "The Fast Way." The first song is the original unedited version that has not been released until now. The second is the edited one taken from "The Best of TV Game Shows, Part 2." The original ABC version is believed to be wiped due to network practices at that time. Six episodes are known to exist: - Four consecutive episodes from May 19--24, 1972, featuring Michael Russnow (prior to the adoption of the "Singleton" and "Memory Buster" elements). - An episode from May 8, 1975, with Marvin Shinkman becoming a five-time champion (Shinkman was later a champion on Double Dare in 1977 and Jeopardy! in 1986) and the June 27, 1975 finale. The UCLA Film and Television Archive holds 15 episodes spanning the entire run, beginning at Episode #39 (May 11, 1972) and ending with the finale.

The Funeral of John F. Kennedy in colour

On Sunday afternoon, November 24th 1963, about 300000 people watched a horse-drawn caisson, which had borne the body of Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Unknown Soldier, carry Kennedy's flag-covered mahogany casket down the White House drive, past parallel rows of soldiers bearing the flags of the 50 states of the Union, then along Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol Rotunda to lie in state. The only sounds on Pennsylvania Avenue as the cortège made its way to the Capitol were the sounds of the muffled drums and the clacking of horses' hooves. Monday, November 25th 1963, the casket was borne again by caisson on the final leg to Arlington National Cemetery for burial. Moments after the casket was carried down the front steps of the cathedral, Jacqueline Kennedy whispered to her son, after which he saluted his father's coffin, a gesture captured by the cameras and long remembered. The children were deemed to be too young to attend the final burial service, so this was the point where the children said goodbye to their father.
